Firearm Policy
Man Camp 2026 · Monte Cristo · August 6–9
Man Camp welcomes responsible firearms owners. To ensure a safe experience for all attendees—including minors—the following rules apply without exception at all times while on camp property.
Firearms stay in your vehicle or holstered
When not participating in a designated shooting activity, all firearms must remain locked in your vehicle or holstered on your person.
No exceptions, no situations.
No handling or manipulation in camp
Do not draw, display, clean, inspect, load, unload, or handle any firearm anywhere in the general camp area — including tents, fire areas,
meeting spaces, eating areas, or any common area.
Shooting activities only — designated area only
Firearms may be handled exclusively during scheduled shooting activities, in the designated area, under the supervision of the activity lead.
All other times — vehicle or holster.
Concealed carry — permit holders welcome
Valid permit holders are welcome to carry concealed.
The firearm must remain holstered at all times outside the designated shooting activity area.
Minors and firearms
Minors may only handle firearms during scheduled, supervised activities with a responsible adult directly present.
No minor should access any firearm outside a supervised activity under any circumstances.
Non-compliance
Anyone not following this policy will be asked immediately to secure their firearm in their vehicle.
Continued non-compliance may result in being asked to leave camp. Safety is not negotiable.
If you see a safety concern at any time — approach a camp leader immediately.
Every man on this property is responsible for the safety of everyone around him.
